Unless a deposit payment method is specifically offered, all payments are taken upfront in full at the time of ordering by the relevant payment terminal. Goods will not be dispatched until the customers funds have been paid in full to The Woodland Shelf Company.
On products that we have offered a deposit payment option you are able to secure the order and the associated build slot with a payment of 50% of the products value. The balance payment of the remaining 50% of the products value plus the shipping cost, if applicable, will be due in the week prior to your build date. Balances must be paid in full before we dispatch any items. We will contact you prior to your build for the remaining deposit and if you cannot proceed we will refund your deposit with deductions for any associated costs to use the payment methods above.
Please note that all transactions will be carried out in GBP. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent via email. The Woodland Shelf Company monitors prices on a regular basis. We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software malfunctions or human error. This website operates on an ‘Invitation to treat’ basis not as an ‘offer for sale’ as a result, The Woodland Shelf Company reserves the right to decline orders for orders for bulk or high value purchases.
By submitting a deposit payment, you are consenting to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and those stated on our delivery page as well as agreeing to material expectations on our edge finishes page.
In the event that we are unable to supply all or part of your order, we shall notify you as soon as possible and reimburse your payment in full no later than 30 days after the intended delivery/collection date.

Our products are designed for simple home fitting and assembly and we always provide the best fittings that we believe to be available at that time. The suitability of such fixings, in each case, is the responsibility of the installer and should be judged according to the individual circumstance.
The customer should be aware of any fittings or hidden fixtures where the shelves will be installed and that the space is suitable for the size of the shelves.
Returns Policy & Guarantee
If you are a customer, by law you have the right to cancel your contract before you receive the products or to return any products to us within 14 days after the day of receipt of the product. A refund will be issued once the goods are returned to us in a satisfactory condition. It is your responsibility to take care of the products provided by The Woodland Shelf Company and also to ensure that that the products and their packaging are not damaged. Any damage to products must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the item in order for us to accept liability and provide a return or replacement.Your right to cancel your order after receiving the products shall not apply to:
- Products built to your specification or which are personalised
- Products which are liable to deteriorate rapidly
- Products which are later deemed unsuitable for your wall structure
We reserve the right to refuse cancellation of orders that are currently in the ‘build state’ (i.e. when suitable stock has already been cut to size) If materials are deemed non-useable for other purposes, then partial charges may be applied against the refundable balance.
Delivery times for all orders are estimated as accurately as possible at the time the order is placed. Actual delivery times may be subject to change and we will notify you as soon as possible if this is the case.
We cannot be held responsible for changes to delivery times due to:
- Delays by courier services or customs offices
- Material shortages or sourcing issues
- Staff sickness
- Force Mageure
All damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery in order for us to accept liability. Failure to report damage to items within this period may result in charges if a return or repair is necessary.
We do not offer free replacements of fixings that are damaged during installation, If a fixing is damaged during installation please contact us with your requirement and we will either provide these at cost or point you in the direction of a national supplier if you are further afield. If fixings are damaged in transit then they must be reported in the timeframe above.
